Our Name and Logo Meaning
Name
Ar-Risala linguistically means ‘the message’ in Arabic. Islamically the term “Ar-Risala” means:
- The channel between Allah and mankind.
- It can also be used to refer to Islam
- Divine message revealed from Allah through a Messenger to the people
Thus at Ar-Risala Institute our goal is to be the connection to help the Muslims learn the divinely revealed knowledge to the Prophet Muhammad (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam).
Logo
Our logo is a geometric design that is comprised of four books and four nibs (the pointed end part of a pen, which distributes the ink on the writing surface). We used the book and pen as a symbol of knowledge and the message that Ar-Risala references.
